The Rev'd Dr Steven Ogden
The Rev'd Dr Steven Ogden

Dr Steven Ogden is Principal of St Francis' Anglican Theological College and the Executive Director of the Ministry Education Commission Brisbane, Australia. He is an academic associate with Charles Sturt University and formerly Dean of St Peter's Cathedral, Adelaide.
Steven is passionate about people, communities and hope. For too long, many people have labored under the weight of a pessimistic view of humanity. Of late, this has been partly challenged by a fusion of pop psychology, positive thinking and a resurgence of individualism. But no one is convinced by these instant, painless solutions.
For Steven, Christianity has something to offer. By Christianity, however, Steven is aware of the dangers of institutional religion and rejects all forms of religious fundamentalism. As a result, he is interested in a 21st century version of Christianity, which offers an alternative vision of what it means to be human, to live in community and experience hope.
As a speaker and writer, Steven has been exploring these questions for over 20 years. He has had the opportunity of working in some remarkable communities of hope, as well as working along side a range of business and community leaders. He has been interviewed regularly on radio on ethical, social and religious matters.
